The ELSA LSR Alumni Association brings to you a Walk “Threads of Continuity: Zoroastrian Life & Culture” specially arranged for ELSA Alumni. Dr. Shernaz Cama, Curator of the Exhibition, has kindly consented to personally take us through the exhibition. Threads of Continuity focuses on the philosophy and culture of the ancient Zoroastrian faith from its origins in Central Asia. Of special interest are the cross-cultural influences on the community in India. It also depicts the contribution of the community to the making of Modern India. The exhibition attempts to explain the Zoroastrian philosophy that a sacred thread links all creation. Rare artefacts and manuscripts from academic and cultural institutions worldwide are on display.

Venue:The Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts,
1 C.V. Mess, Janpath (Entry Gate 1).

Total No.: 20-25 alumni (On first come basis – please see RSVP details below) To round off the Walk and have a taste of Parsi cuisine, we have also arranged packed lunch with Sodabottleopnerwala Restaurant at the venue itself.

Cost: Rs 500/- per head (ELSA Members)
Rs 800/- per head (Alumni who are Non-ELSA members)

Parzor Foundation will also have on display and sale beautiful artefacts with Parsi embroidery.
