Announcing the Launch of travELSA |
|
|
Finally, the ELSA Travel Club – travELSA – is up and running and ready to put together many opportunities for us to come together – old friends and new – and explore different destinations, share memories and create new ones, and of course, leave an ELSA footprint wherever we go!
Vandana Sarin, (Class of 1977, History Hons.), based in Bangalore, is the coordinator and is putting together a team of ELSA volunteers. She’s planning an exciting travel calendar – with diverse trips, short and longer, in India and overseas, luxury and regular, adventure and …..etc. Vandana can be reached at travelsa@lsralumna.org. Do send her your ideas, and your wish list, and also if you are have a travel or related service you would like to offer.
Excited and in a hurry to get the first trip going, travELSA kicks off with a 4 day luxury cruise Singapore – Kuala Lumpur – Phuket – Singapore at an unbelievable price offered by
ELSA alumna, Ratna Chadha, who we’re guessing will make sure we are pampered on board. A separate mail has been sent to you about this trip. Do also add travelsa@lsralumna.org to your inbox contacts so that mails don’t fall into spam. |

A Magical Experience
ELSAs in Delhi who were at the IGNCA on 09th April for the especially arranged walk with Dr. Shernaz Cama, curator of the Threads of Continuity: Zoroastrian life and
culture exhibition, had a magical experience.
Dr. Cama who has many impressive distinctions besides teachingat LSR, made the exhibition come alive in a vibrant story that is both ancient and contemporary, of the material world and spiritual, of a culture and philosophy that is humanist and inspiring.
The exhibition which is a marvelous work of bringing together deeply researched information, photographs, rare art and artefacts, is on till the end of May – do try and catch it.

We Continue to Connect
The Delhi AfterWork Network Meet, at Bohemia on 01stApril was an intimate, fun evening. It’s wonderful the diverse work that we women do – and do well – across professions, across generations.
Each One Bring One
Let’s all make this as vibrant and meaningful a community as we can. Voices of ELSA are coming in from all over with ideas. We’ll share them on the website soon so that all of us can be part of the discussions which interest us. Send your ideas to connect@lsralumna.org. And to grow this to be of value, connect with other alumni and encourage them to become members of the Association. We have to be on the same platform to be able to do things.
So – each one bring one alumna to the community!
